Since our blog is brand new, we thought we'd tell you just exactly Why 2008 Rocked:

Our sweet little angel, Nicholas, was born.

Janis waited patiently for her epidural.

Isn't he just the sweetest?

He started out chubby--but it didn't last long.

We had fun finding Easter eggs with our neighbors: Rylie, A.J., and Braxtyn.

Nicholas was blessed....

.....and kept on being sweet.

Daphne turned five.....

....and went rockstar on us.

Boyd turned seven.....

....and got majorly buff.

Phil got a sweet tan line....

...grew an affinity for ink pads....

....and turned two.

Daphne started Kindergarten. (Boyd-2nd grade)

We had a visit from the penguin. Batman's nemesis? I don't think so.
(He started walking shortly thereafter.)

We had a night of fun with Sleeping Beauty and Indiana Jones. Phil wouldn't wear the vampire costume I bought him so we had to squeeze him into last year's skunk costume.

Nicholas had his first driving lesson.

Janis turned 30!!!! on the opening night of Twilight. Best Birthday Ever!!

Boyd's breakdance class and Daphne's jazz class rocked the stage at their first dance recital.
(Boyd's the one in the white hat with the black hoodie.)

We got to do LOTS of sledding! Phil loves it the most.
By the way, my tailbone is virtually healed now. :)

We had a little too merry of a Christmas.

Mark was attacked by a pack of munchkins.

Daphne made Mommy "pretty".

Yeah, this year rocked.
